Lance Brown
Founder & Executive Director

Lance has been in youth ministry since coming on staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in August of 1991. Lance served for 10 years on staff with FCA in Nashville, TN. During his last six years with FCA, Lance began working closely with the athletes and coaches at Vanderbilt University. In the summer of 2001, Lance founded WhoUWith? Ministries and began serving, on a full-time basis, as the “Spiritual Coordinator” for the Vanderbilt athletic program. He works closely with the football team and staff and also has weekly meetings with the men’s basketball and baseball teams. During the year, Lance will lead team chapels, player and coaches’ Bible studies and meet one-on-one with dozens of athletes and coaches. He also works closely with the Vanderbilt University FCA huddle as the volunteer staff person for FCA.

Lance is a popular speaker for churches, athletic teams, colleges and camps. He has been a speaker at several Fellowship of Christian Athletes National Camps, including St. Simon’s Leadership Camp, Boy’s Black Mtn. Camp, and several team football camps throughout the south.

Lance graduated from Belmont University School of Business in 1991 and is an ordained minister.

Lance, and his wife, Aimee have been married since the summer of 1992 and live in Goodlettsville, TN. They have four children Shelby, Bailey, Kelsey and Cooper. Lance is passionate about loving and romancing his bride, leading his family and serving the body of Christ through collegiate athletic ministry!

In addition to youth retreats and summer camps, Lance also speaks throughout the year at marriage retreats and men’s conferences. He has a real desire for men to love their wives and treat them as God’s special gift.

Courtney Grah
Women’s Ministry Director

Courtney Grah has been on staff with WhoUWith? directing our women’s ministry since 2012. Before joining the WhoUWith? team she was on staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Nashville, where she led FCA’s women’s ministry in Middle Tennessee from ‘04-‘12. Courtney graduated from Tennessee Tech University where she played volleyball. During her time as a collegiate athlete, Courtney saw the importance of having someone on the college campus in ministry that would hold weekly Bible studies, all-athlete meetings, accountability and discipleship.

Courtney feels such a passionate calling for college ministry with athletes, coaches and all those involved or connected with them. She has loved being able to pour the love of Jesus into the young ladies, coaches, administration and trainers at Vanderbilt. It has been such a blessing to see so many students come to really know Christ and go deeper with Him in discipleship.

When Courtney is not doing ministry at Vandy, she is pouring into one of the greatest ministries, her 3 boys… Paxton, Pace, & Pierce. Courtney is married to her best friend Curtis, who is a football coach and teacher at Mount Juliet High School. They desire to invest in people well by loving them like Christ loves them and serving others with all theirs hearts for His glory.

Aimee Brown
Belmont Women’s Basketball Chaplain

Aimee Brown works part-time ministering to the women’s basketball team on Belmont University’s campus.

Aimee spends time a few days a week in bible study and in one-on-one meetings with the Belmont girls. She also assists Courtney in bible study with the Vandy girls and helps out with our summer co-ed study with our athletes. She also joins us in leading our annual student-athlete mission trip.

Aimee is the wife of our director, Lance Brown. She is one of the most decorated female athletes in Belmont history as their second all-time scorer and the first woman to have her jersey retired in school history. This makes her a great fit for ministering to the Belmont women’s team.

The team has welcomed Aimee with open arms and excitement and they love to gather at the Browns’ home or ministry house from time-to-time for fellowship, food, and study.

Cameron Robinson
MTSU Football Chaplain

Cameron Robinson joins WhoUWith? Ministries as team chaplain of the Middle Tennessee State University football program. Cameron is stepping into this new role as part of the divine vision, calling, and blessing of expanding our ministry impact throughout the middle Tennessee area under the leadership and direction of Executive Director & Founder, Lance Brown.

As a direct product of the blessing of WhoUWith? Ministries during his own time as a student athlete with the Vanderbilt football team, Cameron went on to answer his call to ministry during his time as an undergrad and then completed his theological studies at the Vanderbilt Divinity School.

Before joining WhoUWith?, Cameron served in various leadership roles within the Nashville community, where his work as a scholar, musician, ordained minister, and activist has touched and transformed many lives outside of football.

Cameron is deeply committed to college ministry within athletics and has found great joy in sharing the love of Jesus with the young men, coaches, and athletic community at MTSU through biblical teaching, prayer, counseling, discipling, mentoring, and fellowship both on and off the field.

Outside of his professional and ministerial work, Cameron is dedicated to his personal passions of cooking, fishing, traveling, and watching live music. Cameron recently became engaged to his best friend and biggest supporter Jordan, who will join him in Murfreesboro after their wedding in winter of 2025.
